The annual conference of the Global Federation of Insurance Associations (GFIA) was held in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, under the theme “The Changing Global Landscape and Its Impact on the Insurance Sector.” The Azerbaijan Insurers Association also participated in the event.
During the conference, professional insurers from various countries discussed the potential impacts of shifting geopolitical and geoeconomic conditions on the insurance industry. Key topics included global challenges, risk management, and the sustainability of the sector.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Insurers Association has been a member of GFIA since 2021. Currently, GFIA brings together 42 full members and 3 observers, representing insurance associations from around the world.
