Under the initiative and organization of the Azerbaijan Insurers Association (ASA), a delegation comprising executives from leading life and non-life insurance companies embarked on an official visit to Tokyo, Japan.
The primary objective of this visit was to gain insights into Japan’s cutting-edge insurance technologies, including digital transformation solutions and the application of artificial intelligence in the insurance sector.
As part of the visit, the delegation held high-level meetings with several prominent companies, including Ichinen Holdings Ltd., PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC),Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Co., Ltd., SOMPO Holdings Inc., Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company, The TOA Reinsurance Company.
These engagements provided valuable opportunities to explore Japan’s advanced insurance practices, exchange industry insights, and discuss potential areas for future collaboration.
Additionally, the ASA delegation held a business meeting with Mr. Toyonari Sasaki, the Representative Executive Director of the Life Insurance Association of Japan (LIAJ), which is a member of the Global Federation of Insurance Associations (GFIA), where ASA is also a member. During this meeting, discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring collaborative opportunities for the future.
This visit underscores ASA’s commitment to fostering global industry partnerships and staying at the forefront of insurance innovation to enhance the development of the Azerbaijan insurance sector.
