The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey met with the Association of Insurers of Azerbaijan

A meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey, Professor Dr. Birol Akgun, and the Executive Director of the Association of Insurers of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mirsalayev.
At a meeting at the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan, AIA Executive Director Elmar Mirsalayev expressed sincere wishes to the Turkish Ambassador on the occasion of the Martyrs' Memorial Day and the Victory in the Dardanelles on March 18 and spoke about the mutual partnership and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, which have a rich history.
E.Mirsalayev mentioned the mutual relations between the two countries in the field of insurance, which were first established at the initiative of the AIA in 2020 and continue today with fruitful results. The Executive Director also informed in detail about the work carried out within the framework of the insurance Union of the Turkic world, established on the joint initiative of the insurance unions of these two fraternal countries.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Professor Dr. Birol Akgun, in turn, noted that he highly appreciates the work done in our country to develop the insurance sector and the results achieved. He also stressed that the Insurance Union of the Turkic World values it as a successful hub that ensures close cooperation and development in the field of insurance between the Turkic states.
Following the meeting, a unity of intentions was reached to form relations between the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in our country and the insurance sector of Azerbaijan on a closer basis in a new phase.
